The Society for Digitization of Traditional Cultural Heritage (Society for DTKB) was founded in 2008. The initiative for the establishment of the Society for DTKB came from the members of UHAKUD in BiH with the intention to pay more attention to the digitization of materials related to the traditional cultural heritage of Croats in BiH.
Digitization and presentation of materials on the work of traditional cultural and artistic creators are the basic activities of the Society for DTKB; their goal is to provide a comprehensive insight into the work of a cultural and artistic society, individual creator, folklore event or collection of antiquities through processed and presented materials.
The Society for DTKB cooperates with the SFO of the University of Mostar, the FPMOZ of the University of Mostar, the ETF of the University of Sarajevo, UHAKUD in BiH and the CIOF section of BiH. The project for digitization of content related to traditional cultural heritage was presented by the Society for DTKB at several professional international conferences, as follows:
- 1. International Symposium on Digitization of Cultural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, & nbsp; Sarajevo, 2008, presentation and paper entitled "Multimedia presentation of original cultural and artistic societies on the Internet",
